I have been a Substitute Teacher for 15 years. At Manatee Bay Elementary in Weston, I worked for one year as an ESOL teacher in Reading and Math. I have also worked for Lingua Internation teaching English, and as an independent contractor teaching English to members of a church in Southwest Ranches near Weston.
I have a Masters Degree in Museum Studies/Anthropology from George Washington University, in Washington, DC. I also have a Bachelor's Degree in Studio Art/Spanish.
I have worked at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC. Traveling has brought me to many countries in Latin America such as Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru.
I like to ask the student about their fluency from the beginning and ask them what areas they would like to study and become fluent in.
