I am a Pensacola local with ten years experience as a one on one trainer and have extensive experience with a broad range of subjects and learning platforms. My excellent SAT and GRE scores (1590 SAT, single attempt; 1340 GRE with the older scoring format in 2011 - roughly equivalent to a 320 in the new scoring format) reflect my superior test preparation knowledge and I have had success helping other students succeed with the same strategies. I have excellent communication skills in person and online and I am typically available to respond to any inquiry within twenty four hours. I graduated with a BA in Communications with a specialty in Advertising and a Master's of Science in Healthcare Administration from UWF. I have dealt with the campuses, computer systems and e-learning resources of both PSC and UWF. I am a Pensacola High School IB program graduate, class of 2000, and I have experience with AP and honors courses as well including math through calculus BC, English, and history (American and European). I finished UWF with a 3.88 GPA and Pensacola High School with a weighted 4.75 GPA so I understand the importance of performance as well as the stresses and rigors of an intense workload.
With math I have an excellent working knowledge of the subject matter and an ability to creatively explain and demonstrate subjects in a variety of ways to improve comprehension and retention. For SAT, ACT, and GRE preparation and improvement I'm good at giving knowledge on word association, root and suffix clues and contextual knowledge that improves and assists vocabulary, comprehension and answer selection skills for both meaning and association. For the math portion i have a good knowledge base and insight on the subject depth and breadth. I can help adjust your answer selection process, timing, improve your speed and even help with proper test scheduling to improve scores.

David was extremely helpful in preparing me for the GRE. Every lesson we had I learned more and more. He is very patient and not afraid to explain multiple ways of solving problems. I highly recommend to any student that needs help with test prep or math in general.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
You can see my qualifications on my profile but I also want to look at how she is approaching the test to see if there are improvements we can work on there in terms of timing and strategy.
I have helped several people improve their algebra class and test grades in algebra 1 and algebra 2 with help ranging from basic technique to problem strategy and approach.
I have taken the GRE and coached several students through the process of preparation for it. I have been successful in increasing knowledge, skills, speed, retention and understanding for them as well as improving their strategy and approach to achieve significantly higher scores.
