I am a teacher in Pensacola. And I teach elementary age students. I love my job and miss it so much during the summer-- I am hoping to teach children some important skills to help them maintain what they have learned from the previous year and to build upon it so they are ready and more advanced for the next school year. I have been tutoring for about 4 years now and have been teaching since 2012. I love working with kids and having that "light bulb" moment go off for them once they have figured out something they have been struggling with. Teaching is my passion. And I would be lost without it.
I have had extensive training to teach students at the elementary education age level. I have also excelled in math since I was young. I try to make Math fun, with games and technology. There is always a hands-on manipulative approach that I use also to really push the lesson further.

My kids also help one another learn. Sometimes, as a teacher, I have noticed that the kids can communicate an idea I am trying to express in a way I never thought of to help a student that is struggling. Not only are they learning from me, but I am learning from them every day,
If I were to tutor your child, I guarantee that your child will have a hands-on learning experience full of many, different resources and tools to encourage and ensure learning. I am certain your child will learn to love learning and also be eager and excited to learn and go back to school the next year. I am a teacher in Pensacola. And I teach elementary age students. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
