The mission of his therapeutic practice is to create, promote, and maintain a positive relationship with clients, hospitals, medical centers and providers, associates and staff, as well as the greater Palm Beach community.
Dr. Chris B. is a licensed clinical psychologist in the State of Florida. He was born in Miami, and grew up in South Florida. After receiving his Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Spanish at Xavier University he went on to complete his Master's of Science in Clinical Psychology at Loyola University in Maryland. Dr. Chris B. graduated from Pacific University Oregon with a Doctor of Psychology and a focus on Latino/Bilingual work. He wrote his dissertation on "The Relationship of Spiritual Beliefs and Practices to Psychological Well-Being among Latino Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender and Questioning Individuals." Dr. Chris B. was also previously licensed as a Clinical Psychologist in both Oregon & Washington State prior to relocating back home to South Florida. As a Cuban-American, Dr. Chris B. is bilingual (speaks both fluent English and Spanish.) His special interests in the Spanish speaking and Cuban communities has allowed him to diversify his clinical skills. His interests further include treating adolescents and adults from 15+ years of age. He also has extensive clinical experience in mental health services within the LGBTQ+ community. The Geriatric community is also an area of specialization as he received is postdoctoral residency in Geropsychology, and has had several years of experience working with elderly clients within assisted living, long-term-care, and retirement communities. Dr. Chris B. is also EMDR Certified and has experience working with PTSD/Trauma. Dr. Chris B. provides care to individuals, couples and families from all walks of life.
Dr. Chris B. enjoys an active lifestyle including SCUBA diving, paddle-boarding, swimming, exercising, and spending time with family and friends.
