I have certification in Elementary Education (K-6), which I renewed last spring. I have many practice experiences in college working with elementary students and in Brevard County, I have spent a majority of time working with students in grades Kindergarten to Sixth Grade.

I work with my students on reading skills, self-advocacy, mathematics, and more. I love teaching others because it makes me feel good to help others and to see a student smile when they finally grasp a concept they struggle with.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
