I was an International Baccalaureate student in High School and successfully got my IB Diploma back in May of 2015. Currently, I am on track to have a master's degree in history with a minor in diplomacy by 2019-2020. My main passion is Military History, and I hope to become a curator at a military museum in the near future. My hobbies include Warhammer 40k, video games, and researching the World Wars.
I have been interested in history, especially military history, since the age of 6. I have always gotten As in every history course I've taken, and believe I have a passion for the subject that would make me a great tutor.
The best appointment times for me are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, after 12:30, since I have no more classes past that time on those days. Weekends can work depending on my schedule. However, feel free to contact me at all times, I'll be sure to get back to you as soon as I can. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
Part of my IB curriculum was taking two courses in American History, AMH 2010 and AMH 2020. I received an A in both courses and was regarded as one of the top students in my history courses. I feel as though my knowledge on the subject is rather vast, and that I could be of use to someone struggling in said subject.
As part of my IB curriculum I had to take a year long, comprehensive class on European History. I received an A in the course as was held as one of the top students in said class, namely for my diligent note taking and my commitment to studying. I love European History, especially in the 19th and 20th centuries, but regardless I'd be glad to offer my help to you.
Geography has always been a subject that comes naturally to me, much like History. I remember taking Geography back in Middle School, and even though that was quite some time ago I still remember what I learned. If you need help in this subject I'd be more than happy to oblige, namely because it's a fairly simple subject to master once you grasp it.
Much like European History, World History fascinates me, and as part of my advanced placement program in middle school I had to take a dedicated World History course. I still remember what I learned and can tie it in to both American and European History quite easily. If you need help in said subject, look no further.
