I'm an experienced practicing attorney and business owner in Orlando and am TEFL certified. I have experience as an instructor and guest lecturer in both a professional and volunteer capacity, and I'm currently an ESL/English language tutor. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience as a 30 year attorney and 27 year business owner to tutor adults looking to improve their English speech and writing skills in order to pursue their interests in the legal profession or business in general. I'm interested in working with students seeking assistance with linguistics and grammar, accent reduction, conversational English and English for Specific Purposes. In my role as a business owner, I have reviewed hundreds of resumes and conducted numerous interviews, and I am available to assist both native English speakers and non-native English speakers in drafting professional quality resumes and preparing for interviews so they can land that perfect job.
My other interests include reading, traveling, volunteering at my local animal shelter, and working on political campaigns.
I earned my JD from Shepard Broad Center for the Study of Law at Nova Southeastern University. I believe that my 30 year career as an attorney and successful business owner, coupled with my TEFL certification, make me uniquely qualified to assist adult English language learners in advancing themselves in either the legal or business arena.
