Indiana University (History)
When I lived in Indiana, I have been a volunteer at local museums and attractions for visitors and groups. I participated in summer camps and school groups at Science Central and Historic Fort Wayne (both in Fort Wayne, IN). These experiences included creating educational activity sheets (in astronomy and geography) and reenacting 19th century childhood experiences (games and toys). I enjoy interacting with those who like to learn about certain subjects and share knowledge with others - in a way teach each other.
I am an enthusiast on American and European history and cultures. As a child, I lived overseas in London, England. I was exposed to the wonders and stories of the past, from ancient to contemporary history of Europe. in 2013, I earned my Bachelor of the Arts through Indiana University in history. During my studies at Indiana University's Fort Wayne campus, I was active in History Club (promoting from Vice President to President), eager to educate fellow classmates and alumni on certain topics, and making it as a fun-environment with activities and debates.
If one has questions, concerns and needs to understand the significance of history, there is no need to hesitate in asking. For quick questions, I can be contacted via email. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
