Extremely helpful and amazing at Spanish tutoring for the IB Spanish Test!

Alissa is an AMAZING person! I needed help with studying for my IB Spanish 4 test in a couple of weeks, and Alissa is super helpful. It really helps that we talk in Spanish the whole time, and that she supports me while I learn a new language. She knows what she is talking about and is amazingly knowledgeable. Alissa is a great Spanish Tutor. She helped my daughters on their Spanish AP tests. She patiently answered questions they had, went through multiple choices questions, and helped them practice their speaking and listening in Spanish. I appreciate her help.

Knowledgeable and Helpful Tutor

Very helpful and patient teacher

I was looking for a tutor that could help me skip a grade of high school Spanish and Alissa gave me all the help I needed. If you're taking Spanish in school or just want help while learning independently, I would highly recommend meeting with Alissa. She clearly explained all the things I didn't understand and was very patient anytime I had a question. Even when dealing with topics like the past perfect subjunctive Alissa made it so much clearer and simple to understand.

Alissa is a tutor for my daughter Spanish class.

This is the second time we have used Alissa. My daughter truly appreciates her help. She has five stars all the way. This doesn't seem like a big deal but she's always punctual which is not always the case with some tutors. She communicates well with my 13-year-old and we will use her whenever we need a tutor in the future.

Knowledgable, result-driven and caring tutor

I am so happy to have found Alissa on Wyzant. My daughter is the quiet and shy kind and I was worried about how would virtual tutoring work out. It has worked out quite well. Her grades have improved and she is more confident about her AP exam. I am sure this is because Alissa is such a personable, resourceful and caring tutor. Not only does she understands the subject matter but also understands the needs of individual kids. I have been working with Alissa for a couple of months now and our tutoring sessions have been imperative in making me feel more confident with my Spanish. She clearly explains grammar, proofreads my writing, and patiently helps me with my comprehension. It is really useful to have an extra hour of just talking in Spanish, especially because I am learning from home so I don't get as much speaking practice. She is also very quick to respond to messages and accommodating.
