University of Central Florida (Political Science)
"If you're early, you're on time, if you're on time you're late and if you're late, don't bother showing up".
These were the very first words spoken to me the moment I started my first day at work as a production assistant for Forensic Files. It may go a little too far, but I started to understand how this relates to life in a competitive atmosphere in politics, film and theater. Every moment was enjoyable to me because I remember the effort I placed in learning what I thought was crucial to know and using these skills on film sets, classrooms and events I managed and attended. The word I can sum up for everything... fun.
I received my A.A. from Seminole State and I am currently finishing my last semester at UCF for Political Science and minor in Psychology. While attending school, I worked in the film industry as a production assistant and production manager for various television shows, commercials and major films throughout the country. I became interested in acting thru speech class and was encouraged to attend auditions. This was very beneficial for me to feel more comfortable speaking to a large crowd of people scripted or not. I truly believe all these experiences are great factors to help others who are trying to achieve goals of their own. The phrase "those who cannot, teach" is incorrect. A person who has experience is the only one that can teach and inspire effectively.
I'm currently majoring in Political Science at the University of Central Florida. I Interact with the Criminal Justice and Legal Studies departments frequently in order to develop professional relations when holding special events. This has given me key knowledge about how politicians and professionals that work in administration operate and what they specifically look for in students and future employees. I can set a good psychological environment for you to read certain articles and books about your area of study in order for you to fully comprehend the matter, both positively and the negative aspects as well. I like to start the sessions with a discussion on what you know so far about the subject and what you wish to gain from your studies. Dialogue is essential in every study session. I want to know what gives you that "spark" to want to be in this field, or any field, and this way I can make the session always about your vision Selecting the right university to attend is very important and I could advise you on what you should look for in schools and which programs would best help you achieve your goals in your area of interest.
I was ROTC trained in high school, an active athlete and participant in 5k, 10k, and 20k runs throughout the East Coast. I started my own athletic apparel company and I've been helping anyone who wants to add strength into their lives. I've held boot camps on the campus at UCF several times and helped dozens of students achieve their own goals for a fit and healthier life. My sessions range from daily walks and jogs with individuals who wished to gradually start a healthy habit, to those really dedicated athletes who wished to gain 15 pounds of lean muscle, while gaining more experience in footwork and weight training. Knowing how the body works is crucial when placing the body in conditions of pressure, but I will help you stay motivated, educated and overall focused while tuning into this area. One-on-one sessions will take a great deal work from you but at the end of every session you will come out feeling proud. From high intensity training, lunges, bear crawls, jogging, etc. I can help you reach the point you want.
I'm currently with the Diamond Agency and actively sent for auditions mainly on the east coast from New York down to Miami. I've attended and completed several acting classes for theater and film, with a heavier knowledge for film. From preparing your slate to preparing your monologue, I have assisted in teaching three classes for adults in unique and creative ways in order for the actor to feel relaxed, confident and overall prepared. I also work behind the camera as a production manager and can give you advise on good and bad set etiquette, which has many actors ruining their careers due to their behavior on and off the set. In our session, I would briefly go over certain Meisner exercises and other techniques in order for you to feel more relaxed. I would then go over how you should prepare your slate and preparation for a role. There are very simple measure to take when approaching an agent, or especially a casting director. My passion for film went more on the side for directing and script writing, so I can explain what a director is looking for the moment you enter till the moment you leave. I will start my first session in an area where the student feels comfortable and relaxed, but may use creative areas in order for the student to feel inspired and excited. Everything will be discusses with the parent first. If you have a passions for performing or if you just want to get out of your shell, these techniques will help you in mostly any career you wish to pursue in the future.
At one point we all feel overwhelmed, but never allow yourself to quit even before trying. "Nothing happens until something moves" - Einstein. "If you're early, you're on time, if you're on time you're late and if you're late, don't bother showing up".

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
There is a misconception that weightlifting can stunt your growth. Yes, if done improperly. I have been holding bootcamps for several UCF students, high school students and middle school students. From HIIT to playing sports to stay active, I find simple and creative ways to safely place your body in pressure and help push your limits to a point that you can't help but smile and be proud of your own strengths. I do not just stay on the sidelines but join in as well for encouragement and sometimes a little friendly competition.
ROTC trained in high school and a graduate of Admiral Farragut Leadership Academy. Being fit has many different meaning to many people, but making it enjoyable is something we can all agree on. From understanding how you gain strength, speed and agility down to knowing how to properly fuel your body in order to see the results you want is very important.
I am majoring in Political Science at the University of Central Florida. I particularly enjoy Political Psychology and Cyber Warfare. I have worked in the College of Health and Public Affairs, including Legal Studies and Criminal Justice, as an office manager. I am actively attending events set by different party's in order to gain more knowledge and learning to communicate effectively with different members of our community.
I majored in Psychology at Seminole State College and the University of Central Florida before switching to Political Science. I have unique methods for studying both outside the home and inside. I try to make every student think outside the box and place what they have gained from out lessons into the "norm" of society. Learning psychology can help you in most fields and that is what I try to tackle. Flashcards can only go so far, but having random emails as pop quizzes and having conversations about our topics will keep up a drive I try to boost.
