I am a certified Orange County teacher. I have taught in a multiage setting as well as a traditional classroom. I have taught kindergarten, first, second, and fourth grade. I have worked with both ESOL and ESE students. I have three children of my own. When I was in college, I was part of a "Reading Rescue" tutoring program. I also served as a director for a tutoring center for a short period. My strengths are Reading and Writing, but can also tutor elementary Math.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
