Bio

Orlando Area Software Developer (15+ yrs)

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. I've been tutoring people of all ages in many subjects since I had these same courses in High School & College.

I especially enjoy helping others with Math. So many people have had bad experiences with Math ... and it is an amazing feeling when they go from hating math, to actually enjoying taking challenging math courses.

I've had students that hated math when I met them, and after we worked...

Well, one of my majors for my bachelor's degree was Criminal Justice. I took courses in the history of Criminal Justice in America and American Prison Systems. I took criminal psychology and criminology courses. My overall GPA in all of these courses was 3.5 or better. Law and criminal justice is something I am still very interested in, so I read a lot of current information on cases and legal decisions.

Great Statistics Tutor

Susan was able to help my daughter understand the confusing way that statistics questions are worded and that took away a lot of stress from her. Susan gave her tips and tricks that will get her through the rest of this class. Thanks so much Susan!

Very Knowledgeable and Kind tutor

Susan was very helpful at explaining basic concepts of C programming (and others) that I did not know before meeting with her to work on an assignment I had. After our first meeting, I left feeling a lot more confident that I could become a better programmer and pass my course.

Extremely dedicated teacher

My daughter needed some help with a last moment assignment. Susan dedicated the whole day to help her! She worked with my daughter until the task was done. I am really thankful to Susan for this. I rarely review people, but this time after seeing Susan's dedication I had to give her a positive review.

Greatest tutor ever

I've worked with DOZENS of tutors in my life, but Susan is hands down the best. She knows a LOT and is super easy to work with. She's helped me a ton with difficult topics in C/C++ with ease, such as multithreading, mutexes, and condition variables. Don't even hesitate to reach out to her!

Knowledgeable and Professional

Susan did a great job helping me to further understand object oriented programming. She took a different approach than that of my professor and it ended up helping me quite a bit.
