Hello! Learning has always been very important to me. Over the years I have had the opportunity to teach and train individuals of all ages, all learning abilities, and those with and without special needs. I supervised a large elementary school afterschool program, and worked as substitute teacher for grades K through 8 in response to personal requests from teachers in the school district. I have tutored high school students and graduate level students. During my graduate studies I served as a teaching and research assistant. I have taught courses in undergraduate psychology, ethics, and theories in counseling. Given my specialty training in neuropsychology, I can help you with questions related to brain anatomy, physiology, cognitive assessment, and cognitive and behavioral presentations of neurological disorders. I have helped graduate students fine tune their essays and personal statements for internship applications, and have worked with psychology interns and residents in clinical training settings.
I believe my strength in teaching comes from an innate ability to meet each individual at his or her own level. I try to present information in a variety of ways to enhance the learning experience. I strive to make learning fun, interesting, and exciting. I look forward to working with you! Hello! Learning has always been very important to me. Elizabeth was patient, efficient and very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend her. I was unsure about using an international tutor, but so glad I gave this a try! Thank you Elizabeth.
"Huge Help" is what my high school age son said after his first hour with Elizabeth tutoring him in Statistics. She has been great and he likes working with her a lot. Thank you so much for helping my son pass!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
