Curriculum Vitae
Bachelors Degree in History from The University of Central Florida
Florida Educator Certification in Technology, History, Business Ed, and Coding
17 years of experience teaching middle school students
Programmer on the Unity and MIT App Inventor Platforms
Fluent in the C# programming language
I have been programming in C# using the Unity platform for the past 15 years. As a middle school teacher, I taught coding classes to multiple classes of students aged 10-13. I have privately tutored many students in C# and game design on platforms such as Unity. All of my classes are 100% student driven and customized to fit each student's interests and needs.
I have been playing competitive tournament chess since I was 10 years old and love tutoring others in this incredible mental challenge. I have run multiple chess clubs at the elementary and middle school level. I currently own and run a private online chess club for students 10-14.
Each one of my classes is centered around a a subject that I personally care about. I try to kindle each student's excitement about the potential of technology to change our world. I have been a gifted and talented and programming teacher for the past seventeen years. My 3D printers are always printing something interesting from a Ironman helmet to a giant dinosaur named Flexi-Rex. My classes are all about challenging students to test their limits and have a great time doing it. I look forward to meeting you in one of my classes soon!
