In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I was a Prosecutor for approximately 7 years in Illinois. As a Prosecutor I litigated many jury trials and conducted research to respond to Motions to Quash. I am very familiar with the criminal justice system as I have been working with police officers, defense attorneys and judges on a daily basis.
I have a law degree from Valparaiso University School of Law. After Law School I was a Corporate Employee Relations and Staffing Manager where I was required to make many presentations to different types of employees. In addition, I was a Prosecutor for approximately 7 years while I was living in Illinois. As a prosecutor I successfully presented several cases to jurors. I fully understand how important it is to write your presentation depending on your audience and I have real world experience giving presentations to many diverse audiences.
