I am a native of Miami Florida where I graduated from Miami Carol City Senior High School. I started my undergraduate studies at Florida A&M University where I was a member of the FAMU Marching 100, Symphonic, Jazz, Brass Ensemble and Trombone Choir. In 2000 and 2002 I was selected for the College Band Directors National Association (CBDNA) Southeast Intercollegiate Honors Band. I am also a former member of the U.S. Marines Basic Musician Enlistment Program where I studied at the Armed Forces School of Music in Norfolk, Virginia and a proud graduate of Florida Memorial University where I was a member of the Jazz Band and Concert Band. I am also the founder and CEO of Virtuoso Production & Consulting, Inc. A non-profit organization designed to help create unique educational opportunities for youth involved in the arts.
I have always had a passion for history. It helps us to understand where we can go and achieve. Through the use of various media aids and discussion we will explore the history of our country and the history of the world and how they all relate to each other.
As an accomplished band arranger I have learn that a firm grasp of music history and music theory helps a student better understand their music and the larger role their part plays in the overall ensemble.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
