I am a college student who aspires to be a teacher. I enjoy helping students learn. Seeing a student succeed is a great feeling, and succeeding as a student is equally great. I always hated that boring class in school that made you wish you could leave before the class was over. I want students to get excited about learning. Communicating my passion for a subject with a student is my goal. I am committed to making any and every tutoring experience fun and enjoyable. I am a student myself, so I can relate to how a student feels when he or she wants to grasp a subject. I believe that being a student will allow me to better identify with another student.
I will use different methods to tutor a student, as different students are reached through different methods. I will make sure that the student is excited and challenged, but never overwhelmed or struggling with a lesson that I present to the student. I want both you and the student to be satisfied, and I encourage feedback on any lesson that I give. Please let me know if there is anything I can do that will help your student succeed.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
