Reader and writer of poetry, nonfiction, and playwriting. After high school, I collected a poetry book. At Ohio Wesleyan, I minored in English, compiling a portfolio. I've taken two intense writing workshops in college and one poetry workshop in Portugal. I can revise papers within minutes or suggest by which creative process one should take to write and edit.

Taught young swimmers with ADD/ADHD. Parents have come to me or warned me or were surprised how well I dealt with children with ADD/ADHD. I have never been diagnosed; I would not be surprised if I was diagnosed when I was a child that I would have had it. My mother never believed in diagnosing it because I did well in school anyway. I have friends that have a prescription for ADD/ADHD treatment drugs which I don't personally believe in due to the reliance of those drugs on your brain in the future. I try to understand and sympathize, however.

I'm super relaxed and if we are not failing or correcting something then I feel like I'm not doing my part as an instructor. There will never be awkward air and I only wish to help with the self-esteem and confidence of those who want to learn. Thank you for the opportunity. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
