Hello! I graduated summa cum laude from Princeton University with a degree in engineering physics and a minor in mathematics. In addition, I was inducted into the academic honors society phi beta kappa at graduation. My graduate work was done at Stanford University, also in engineering physics. I have always been interested in math and science, as evidenced by my working career. My first job position was as a physicist doing research for a Silicon Valley laboratory. I was subsequently recruited by Wall Street firm Goldman Sachs to work as a mathematician developing new trading products for their commodity trading division. After several years, however, I realized that I wanted to return to my true passion, which was to teach mathematics, physics and chemistry to high school and college students. I had always tutored on the side during college and career, and found tutoring to be much more rewarding. I truly feel that I am making a difference in my students’ lives.
I have now been tutoring for over 17 years, and have had over 200 students during that time. I have tutored students at all learning levels, from those with learning disabilities all the way to students graduating as valedictorian of their class. I have numerous personal tutoring recommendations from clients, which I am happy to provide upon request. You may contact my clients directly to inquire about my tutoring capabilities and style.
During our sessions together, I will insure that the student understands the underlying concepts/proofs for each step of the problem solving process. I firmly believe that a strong foundation is needed in order to proceed forward in learning math and science. In addition, I am easily reachable and am happy to discuss any questions or concerns you may have about our sessions together. Please contact me to schedule an appointment.
At Princeton University, I minored in mathematics, and graduated with highest honors and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. In addition, my previous career included wo
