I have been working in Television since 1981! I started as Dick Cavett's personal assistant at WNET NY. From there I moved to MTV where I learned all of the technical details of television broadcasting and the "new" world of Cable TV. Things just blossomed from there. I couldn't get enough of the television business. I wanted to learn and experience as much as I could. My resume reflects that drive to learn. I was a Program scheduler, Director, Editor, writer, producer and Supervising Producer.
I have worked on both coasts, first in NY at MTV Networks, then Fox Television, CBS News, NBC News, and so on. In 1995, working as an Editor for Fox Television, I was asked if I would like to move to Los Angeles to cover the OJ Simpson Trial. I jumped on the opportunity and never looked back. I lived in LA for 15 years and grew my resume into what it is today. I was an editor on MTV's The Real World for 7 Seasons. From there I started Directing and eventually producing shows like Nanny 911, The Bachelor, Secret Millionaire, Spying on Myself, Average Joe, Big Medicine and Ruby!.
I want to start tutoring people interested in making a career for themselves in TV. I have learned so many things about the industry and myself and I would love to share that knowledge.
Supervising Producer on Network Reality Shows like The Bachelor and Nanny 911. I was in charge of the whole production in the field. From lighting to story.
Let me help you navigate the waters to get your career off to a great start.
