Back in my wild days between cross-country musical tours, I discovered Photoshop and my life changed forever. The depth and power of pixel-based editing can be overwhelming – many artists will tell you that Photoshop can keep you up all night, and many call it an addictive drug. I still learn new things about it every single day (no exaggeration!). Eventually I had no choice but to give myself over to it: I got a job that demanded photography in addition to computer editing and design, so I taught myself how lenses work, and how to use a digital camera. Always a fan of photography, I never learned how to use a darkroom. What was the point, now that I had Photoshop?
As years went by I developed my skill in many styles of photography; but my bread and butter is product and studio. I also shoot portraits and headshots, as well as the occasional event, but I avoid wedding photography: the industry seems oversaturated. I'm here to help people learn simple and inexpensive ways to do photography well, and how to use Adobe Camera Raw and Photoshop to maximize images as well as save craploads of time. Product photography does NOT need to be painful and tedious!! Really! It can actually be a lot of fun.
The thing about me is my enthusiasm for photography and Photoshop, and my deep understanding of the relationship between capture and final image. Companies pay me a lot of money to shoot their stuff: both for advertising and package design, as well as ecommerce. I totally love what I do, and I get a huge lift out of helping others learn – I teach the technical and encourage the creative.
My portfolio is available on request.
I've helped dozens of companies solve their imaging problems. Based in Miami, Florida; but happy to consult on the phone or web. Thanks! Hi...

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I'm a professional photographer with 10 years' experience. Most of my work is in studio and product images for ecommerce and advertising, but I also shoot portraits, headshots, and families. I've been using Photoshop since version 3 (1998), and I use it professionally every day. My aim is to coach businesses and professionals to create better images with higher efficiency, with minimum fuss!
