My tutoring method is based on conversation, grammar, but most of it live interaction emulating real live situation. If you are planning a trip to Italy for pleasure or business and need to know the way to approach Italians … well I am your man.
Learning a language is like running a marathon. You have to have a definite objective and the will to achieve it. It is a long way, but if you put the time and the necessary effort, you can get there. I have been living in Italy for 24 years I have a bachelor degree in Political science from the University of Bologna, in northern Italy, right between Florence and Venice. I have managed to get my journalist freelance license and I have been contributing to my hometown news paper ever since.
I am flexible with my schedules and willing to accommodate single individuals and small groups of not more than three people. Please do not hesitate to contact me at any time. I came to Miami for 10 days and in that time needed to start my journey to learn Italian. I like the approach and mentality of Simon T's resume so was pleased he replied quite quickly. I then had between 2-4 lessons every day for around 8 days. I loved learning with him, I found him to be patient, kind, funny, and highly knowledgable with an easy teaching manner.
He has an top quality understanding of Italian grammar and we used this to construct simple sentences and conversation. He was always on time and very flexible when my schedule changed which it did a couple of days in a row. I aim to continue learning with him via Skype now that we have a basic plan for working together. Highly recommended, ticks all the boxes.

Simon was a great knowledgeable. Tutor Unfortunately, I moved away. If I still lived in Miami, I would continue with Simon. Great tutor.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
