My passion is to inspire students to reach their full potential by helping them acquire new skills. I have a Masters in Architecture from Florida International University and currently work as an independent contractor, providing design services to firms and individuals. I've had the privilege to learn and sharpen design and presentation skills in various architecture programs. For two years, I had the opportunity to help create and run the mentoring program for first year design students at FIU School of Architecture where I taught them basic tips and tricks in programs such as AutoCad, Rhino and Adobe Illustrator. I also participated in national and international competitions which helped me hone my skills in programs such as Revit, Lumion, Sketchup and Adobe Photoshop.

Before I start tutoring a student, I make sure to understand his/her challenges and their strengths and weaknesses so that I can help them improve in the most effective way possible. My first step when I meet a new student is to assess their individual skill level in whichever program they require. This will allow me cater to their specific needs. Every session will have a set plan of what we are going to cover during the lesson. The plan will ensure effective use of lesson time. After two lessons, practice work will be given to the student and after two weeks or every month, a test will be assigned depending on the students progress level.

I believe practice makes perfect and I have the patience as well as the drive to help students of all ages improve their design skills whether it be handwriting, creative arts or architecture programs. In the past years of growing to love and appreciate architecture, I have the confidence to help students realize their passion through design explorations and skill development. I have the drive to help you reach your learning goals and I am excited to work with you!

I graduated with honors with a Masters degree in Architecture from FIU and I currently work as an independent contractor providing design services to individuals and firms. Asides from gaining 5 years of experience in architecture school, I have had the privilege to work in 4 other architecture firms as well as participate in several national and international design competitions. As my passion for architecture grew over the years, I have learned new skills and sharpen the ones I already have. Working in a firm gives me professional experience and helps me constantly practice my skills. I will be able to help a student develop basic skills in various architecture programs as well as guide them through the world of architecture as a whole.

Having graduated with a Masters in Architecture from FIU, I had the opportunity to work with AutoCad alongside other architecture programs for 5 years. I learned basic tips and tricks, how to detail drawings, how to plot, export /import and how to develop a project from start to finish, to name a few. I started and ran the mentor program for first year design students. During my two years as the head of the program, I was able to help students develop useful skills in the AutoCad.

Having graduated with a Masters in Architecture from FIU, I've had the opportunity to work with Revit for 5+ years. I have worked on school projects, national and international projects as well as professional projects using Revit. I am able to take a project from conceptual design to finish projects using this program. Before I start tutoring a student, I get to understand his/her needs and determine what areas will need more attention. I will also give students basic tips and tricks for using Revit. I will assign regular practice work depending on the students performance during each lesson.

My case was a little difficult in terms of the level of my CAD skills, as I was not a beginning student but I did have some knowledge working with AutoCAD. So it was a little difficult for Ebehi at first working to figure out how much I know and where to begin with me. However, we made it though the first session with some results that I was looking to achieve. I'm looking forward to our next session very soon.

Great tutor

Ebehi is a very knowlegable patient and skilled tutor. In the short amount of time we worked together a lot what I needed to learn was achieved . Ebehi was also able to help my teenage daughter with a program on her computer which allowed her to continue her school work in a better way.
