The Anglo (Graduate Coursework)
I started teaching at an early age. Since then I found that my passion was to help others achieve their goals, which at the same time I considered my own, because it gives me great joy to see my pupils accomplish their objectives. I am a graduate student holding an international degree with over 17 years of experience teaching in Mexico at very prestigious institutions, such as U.N.A.M. (Universidad Autonoma de Mexico) high schools and The Anglo, where I started as a business classes teacher.
I was rapidly promoted as an Academic coordinator and in the U.S. I have mainly given private lessons. I come from a family of teachers so I can say that teaching is a natural thing to do, and without a doubt I wouldn't change this for anything in the world.
I mainly focus in teaching English and Spanish in order to help my students ace these subjects at school, their professional and personal lives as well. While teaching either English or Spanish my aim is to set my student in real situations in order for them to grasp the language in a real context. Challenging my students with some homework as well as language assessments is a must. I specialized in preparing my students for international certifications issued by Cambridge University such as KET, PET, CAE and CPE as well as TOEFL.
Student's satisfaction is really important for me, so I have created a feedback format for my students to see their improvement and at the same time they can give feedback about the lessons they have received from me. Commitment and responsibility are important to achieve any goal so a 24-hour cancellation policy is strictly enforced. Make up classes can also be scheduled.
Aside from language teaching, I also have helped little kids in different after school programs to keep them off the streets. I used different techniques to teach them how to play soccer and programmed friendly local matches as well which made it fun for them to learn. Coming from a Hispanic family, soccer is the main sport in our countries, so I can say it is in my blood.
I would love to have the chance to help you achieve success. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have taught local kids how to play soccer by using simple exercises to tech them basic dribbling techniques, ball control, shooting, defending, goalkeeping and tactics for the most advanced students. discipline in and off the field is the key to success.

I am a Spanish native speaker. I have been a teacher for over 17 years of experience at all levels but mainly focusing on teenagers, young adults and adults. I have taught English and Spanish in high school and university level at U.N.A.M in Mexico and at The Anglo which is a British institute that works alongside University of Cambridge in England. My main aim is to make your goal my goal and to achieve it together. I use different tools to help you get our daily objective we will have, audios, visual material, videos and even songs to help you get the best of every lesson.
I usually suggest my student's to take classes between 1.5 hrs to 2 hours long. that way we could have enough time to review information from previous classes that may be useful for further lessons.
I am looking forward to meeting you.
