I hold a doctor of philosophy (Ph.D.) in Anthropology, which includes; archaeology, women studies, and upper-level undergraduate and graduate courses in Sociology. Additionally, I completed independent study in Philosophy. My academic research is published along with several articles.

I offer 16 years of teaching at the college level and five years scoring tests such as CASHEE. These experiences provide me with insight into student's skills. Since my first day of teaching, I have created a holistic pedagogy for students. The culture of education is significantly improved with the creation of supplemental materials to help build student confidence and comprehension which means better grades. I have written a textbook, taught both undergrad and graduate level courses, and mentored individuals working on their dissertations.

What I love about tutoring (education) is that tutoring (mentoring) has an immediate impact on a student's life with a measurable outcome. For example, increased confidence is the most important measurement. Once a student realizes that (s)he can successfully complete any task(s) there will be improved grades along with a new sense of accomplishment which will infuse his/her academic life.

Experience, commitment, use of latest teaching technologies, and knowledge are a few reasons why I am a stupendous tutor. I can make a difference in your academic life.

Very Helpful

Sharon was quick to respond back to me. She was direct on how things were going to work and gave me great tips on my paper. I strongly recommend Sharon to anyone searching for a tutor.

Tutor responded:

Hi Kris, I deeply appreciated your feedback and confidence in my knowledge.

Skilled tutor who (Quickly) understands YOUR needs!

I sought out Sharon's help for an upper-level philosophy course. Not only did she respond to me within the hour of my sending a message, but she also made herself available to me that day. When you are a student struggling with material, we need help, and we need it fast! With subjects like Philosophy, it is very hard finding skilled tutors who have mastery of the topics and not just "insight". I needed a tutor who could help me understand the material and provide further instruction beyond simply reviewing for an essay or preparing for a test. She is a very knowledgeable tutor who makes herself readily available as per the needs of the student. She is worth her weight in gold!
