I did my very first work experience at a school at the age of 15- working with 5th grade students for a week and teaching them a variety of subjects.I also did tutoring in Russian during my last two years of school- helping younger students prepare for exams in the above subjects.
I am an English Hospitality major, but also have extensive interest and experience in American, Russian and hospitality . I am very passionate about this subject, and believe that this enthusiasm combined with my expertise in it will form the basis for engaging and effective tutoring.
I am now bilingual (in Russian and Ukranian), but Russian was my first language for the first ten years of my life, and I still speak to Russian natives regularly! So I am aware of the cultural and language particularities of Russian that only a native speaker can comprehensively grasp.
I understand the importance of time management and know many techniques for avoiding stress. I would love to communicate these skills to others so that more people can learn to cope with exams in a stress-free way. TEACHING EXPERIENCE

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
