About Shannan

My name is S. Wright, I was born and raised in WV, I moved to the Miami area in 2012. I immediately started working for Miami Dade County Public Schools as a paraprofessional for a year, while I completed my bachelor's degree at Kaplan University. After graduating from Kaplan I received my K-6 Teacher Certification for the State of Florida. I am currently teaching 5th grade Reading but I am also very comfortable in Math. I do after school tutoring during the school year with children ranging from 3rd grade to 6th grade.

I currently teach 5th grade reading and 80% of my students have increased their reading levels. I teach children to enjoy reading. I am also familiar with the Florida Standards used in public schools.
