People come to me looking to learn about or deepen their connection to Judaism, or just learn new skill sets.
Able to provide a jump start Hebrew course,the quick way for adults,or with traditional methods for children. As a Rabbi, working in adult education,I have extensive experience in teaching Biblical text, Talmud and Mishna to adults, as well as more esoteric subjects.I have taught introductory learning of all text on the children’s level. I have experience in dealing with life issues and family matters.I am an experienced coach and maintain a coaching practice.I am also certified tutor in the Miami- Dade School system.
I focus on finding the creative way to make traditional subject matters alive and vibrant. I greatly understand, and am sensitive to, the frustrations of never having explored a critical part of life in a fulfilling personal way. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
