Hello, everybody! My name is Elizaveta. I graduated from Amur State Pedagogical University with a degree in Philology in 2008, and have an additional qualification in Russian as a Foreign Language. Since 2008 I devoted myself to teaching English and Russian languages.
I immigrated to the USA in 2009.
I've worked as an English-Russian and Russian-English translator for a few US magazines, including Socialite Magazine in Miami, and in Russian-American Business Magazine. Furthermore, I've been giving private Russian lessons for 5 years to students at a range of levels and with very different requirements.

I love reading books and watching films in English, so I know how rewarding and exciting it is to embrace a foreign language. And we can only learn how to speak, read, listen and write a language when we are using it! So I always involve students in all these activities with an emphasis on speaking and understanding. By creating a positive, relaxed and engaging learning environment, I encourage my students to overcome their psychological barrier and talk freely during the class. Hello, everybody! In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
Russian is the fourth most widely spoken language in the world. It is the first language of more than 220 million people. My tutorial will prepare you for a business trip to Russia, and help you to be confident speaking to native Russians. My online Russian booklets and additional homework material contain a lot of useful backup information and exercises that are strongly recommended for consolidating the learning process.
Joining my classes and tutorials will give you a unique opportunity to learn how to understand and think in Russian. I've worked as an English-Russian and Russian-English translator.
