I also have a Certificate as Educator from Miami Dade Community College and a Professional Educator's Certificate in Math (5-9 grades) from the Department Education of the State of Florida.
I have been living in Miami, Florida for 12 years. I have been teaching/tutoring Math for more than 20 years, including my teaching jobs in Venezuela, with very successful results.
My skills, in addition to my knowledge and experience, include my love for the students and my passion and patience for teaching. Regarding my tutoring methods, one of the first things I do is identify the type of student I have to tutor. Knowing if he/she is a visual, auditory or tactile learner, the next step is to complete my tutoring plan, which will include the textbooks, educational games, exercises, videos, music, tests, and homework that I am going to use for this particular student.

For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students.
