I make connections to real world problems and solutions. I encourage exploration of topics that interest the student.
I have my ESOL and Reading endorsements. I have experience with small reading groups and one on one turoring.
I am so excited to have the opportunity to tutor learners of all ages. I believe that all students can learn when given the appropriate support and guidance. A teacher or tutor's primary goal should be to teach problem solving and critical thinking so the student can move on to independent work.
