I am a native Floridian and hold a Bachelor's degree from the University of South Florida in communication sciences and disorders specifically in speech-language pathology.
I am a certified Infant-Toddler Developmental Specialist. I have extensive knowledge and experience in working with children who have special needs. I have spent the past 15 years providing treatment for children with language disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy and Specific learning disabilities. I love what I do. Seeing special needs children excel is a wonderful feeling and helping families learn how to work with their child is very rewarding.
I have worked with special needs children from birth through 12th grade. I have developed Individualized Education Plans specific to the needs of the diagnosis. I incorporate a hands-on approach while modifying or adapting all activities specific to your child's learning style. My services include but are not limited to; literacy, writing, language arts, phonics, vocabulary, sight words, reading and listening comprehension, math concepts and computation and life skills.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
