Hastings College (Mathematics)
Hi all, my name is Carlos and I have two bachelors degree. The first one is in Arts from the University of Havana, Cuba. I studied there for five years and had the opportunity to get a wide experience in various subjects such as World History, Fine Arts, Latin-American History and Philosophy. I also speak perfect Spanish and I am able to communicate in Portuguese and Italian. Back in Cuba I used to work as a para educator teaching History to kids of my own age in a High School in Havana.
Here in the US I just graduated with a BS in Mathematics from a private college in Hastings, Nebraska. I took a few high level math classes and all the basics ones, such as Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus, Geometry, Logics and such. I also had a part time job in a community college in Hastings working as a math tutor for students who need help with homework and projects.
I like the teaching and tutoring environment and I would love to help any person who may need my assistance. Have a great day. Hi all, my name is Carlos and I have two bachelors degree. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
