I am available at your convenience to teach you or your child the skills you need! I am here to help! I have 2+ years teaching experience in a variety of subjects and I make it my priority to bring the skills I've learned teaching children and young adults to your lesson in whatever subject area you (or your child) may happen to need assistance with.
I have a BA in Anthropology (with a concentration in Archaeology), but I have tutored everything from English and Basic Mathematics to American History, Social Studies, and even Archaeology! I have worked with children/young-adults ranging from 8 years old to college sophomores and would love the opportunity to help you and/or your child on your academic journey! If you know someone who has a need to succeed, I am here for you!
Note: I also offer unique personal guidance in the martial art known as Judo and specialize in personal self-defense for women and children using general defense techniques coupled with my personal experience with Judo, Jiu-Jitsu, and Sambo. Martial arts are a great way to get your child active while teaching them the skills they need to succeed in life such as leadership, self-control, patience, and self-confidence. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have a BA in Anthropology from the University of South Florida. I have academic experience in all four sub-fields of anthropology, including cultural, linguistic, biological and archaeological. Anthropology is the study of humans (and/or their ancestors) and human culture, utilizing multiple facets of social science and using trends to predict human behavior. Whether it's analyzing cultural trends or tracking the impacts of biological or linguistic circumstances, anthropology gives you a unique way to analyze and interpret the world around you.
I have a BA degree in Anthropology from the University of South Florida with a specific methods concentration in Archaeology. I have methods experience with both in the field and lab working with historic and prehistoric artifacts in a variety of contexts. Whether it's learning about archaeological sites around the world or learning the methods and techniques behind excavation, I have the experience to assist you.
