I look forward to showing you the beauty, elegance and ubiquity of Mathematics and Physics. The study of these subjects is an investment well worth your time and effort because, unlike much of what we see and hear around us, these are basic and eternal truths. The people who came before us discovered these ideas and they deserve our gratitude which we can show by learning the concepts and principles they left for us. We stand on their shoulders and are fortunate to be able to move on to even greater levels of progress and understanding which leads to greater prosperity and happiness for us all.

What is unique about my lessons is that I provide one or more of my Summary Sheets about the topic that helps a student more easily retain what they have learned months [ or years ] after the lesson. It is a page [laminated if in person; emailed if online] summarizing the ideas one must know about the topic and makes it easy to go over the ideas many times after the lesson thus using repetition to impart retention. You can find these downloadable documents with the link to "Resources" near the bottom of My Profile page; then, to the right click on "Files". I have created and continually refined nearly all of these sheets over my many years of classroom teaching.
I was an electronics engineer for 35 years. Then I taught High School Calculus, Math and Physics for 10 years. I hold BSEE and MSEE degrees from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY which is the oldest technical college in the U.S.
I have worked in Nuclear Physics and in Silicon Valley for my 35 year engineering career, mostly at particle beam accelerators [atom smashers]. I was on the engineering team that supported the first discovery of Element 106, Seaborgium in 1975.
My rate is $50/hr ; $90/hr For Electrical Engineering since the material is much more advanced and difficult requiring more preparation and follow up time.

Excellent

Paul was available on a short notice, and lessons with him were a gret help. I initially got 52% on the test and after 2 calculus sessions with Paul my grade went to 90%.

Thank you!

Thank you, Paul! My son said he learned more in an hour with you than he has all month in class! He also said that you were extremely patient and thorough. Taner will continue with his sessions!

Fantastic physics and electrical engineering tutor

Over the course of three weeks Paul has tutored me for the college course Fields and Waves, which is one of the toughest courses in the school. He has shown extensive knowledge in the core concepts of the course, as well as the application of these concepts in the real world and work environment, providing all the essentials for success in the course. I feel prepared for the upcoming course and am happy to have had him as a tutor.

Larry, 8 lessons with Paul

Quite knowledgeable, very thorough and patient

Ahead of each lesson Paul gets a feedback on areas of concern. He works on problem sets ahead of the lessons so that the learning is maximized during the session. He reinforces by sending the solution to the problem sets also after the lesson. Paul has really helped my son to get a better handle on the concepts of physics C.

Great Help!

Paul is an outstanding tutor. He helped me pull my grade from a 50 to a 80. If ever he wasn't solid on a topic, he went above and beyond to learn the topic and provide the material in a easy to understand eat. Highly recommend if you really wanna learn.

Rachel, 12 lessons with Paul

Excellent Tutor.

Paul helped me with Physics 1 at FAU. Very helpful. Also provided me with formula sheets and helpful notes. He was also excellent at explaining concepts I didn't understand.

Reese, 1 lesson with Paul

patient and thorough

Paul was very patient and thorough, he helped work through very specific and tricky physics topics. He was professional and knowledgeable.
