The College at Brockport (Elementary Education)
Hello! My name is Adam and I am offering math and reading tutoring services for students in grades 4-6.
I am a 2009 NY state college graduate with a degree in Elementary Education with Elementary Education certification in grades K-6, Exceptional Student Education certification in grades K-12 and English for Speakers of Other Languages certification in grades K-12. I have taught 5th grade (all subjects) in Osceola County but I am now a Professional Development Specialist for an educational textbook publisher. Thus, I travel and train teachers at school districts across the nation.
A pre-assessment and post-assessment will be conducted with your child at the beginning and end of tutoring to identify areas of weakness and to show you the areas of growth after the tutoring services. Or, you may wish for me to help with homework and studying which I enjoy doing as well.
Tutoring can range from 1 to 1.5 hours each session.
Tutoring may take place at places like the Celebration library, Starbucks, your home, my home or my community's leasing office.
I would enjoy tutoring your child to excel their reading or math skills as aligned to the rigorous Florida standards and look forward to hearing from you soon! Hello! My name is Adam and I am offering math and reading tutoring services for students in grades 4-6.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
