I hold an Honors BA in American Studies from the University of Hawaii Manoa and a Master’s in English Literature from the University of North Florida. I am presently available for tutoring in-person or online in the areas of Reading, Writing and Literature for all ages, abilities and skill sets.
Not only have I worked with a range of abilities from elementary ESL to AP English to professional graduate, I am also the author of an award-winning book on the regulatory capture of the Food and Drug Administration called Good Housekeeping Voodoo. Funded in part by a federal Research Opportunity Grant, primary source research for this book was conducted at the Library of Congress and Milton Eisenhower Special Collections at Johns Hopkins University.
My work has been presented at professional academic conferences, and I have also been a successful grant writer for several organizations across the country.
