I've been teaching for 5 years and I've tutored for 10 years so no matter the circumstances you're in which have you searching for a tutor, I've help many students in similar situations and I can help you as well. I enjoy tutoring because the one-on-one or small group setting typically are just what the student needs for that bulb to shine bright and so it is very rewarding.
To date, I have had a student improve his SAT math score by 300 points. It took multiple training sessions per week for 5 months, and a lot of hard work on his part, but it paid off. Most of my SAT students see an increase between 50 and 100 points on the math section. Also, I've had a student go from a 1 to a 4 on the AP Calculus AB exam. So long as you're willing to put in work to understand the math (and not just memorize facts), we can work together to make you successful in math.
Subjects I tutor: Algebra 1 and 2; Pre-Calculus; AP Calculus AB / BC; AICE Math; SAT / ACT / GRE / GMAT; and certain college math courses. Sorry to those of you in Geometry or Statistics but I do not tutor those subjects.
If you're in high-school math other than Geometry or Statistics, please reach out to me to set something up. Also, if you're in college math courses, feel free to ask if I can help with your course! I prefer meetings to be at least 1 hour and at a public place.
