University of North Florida (MBA)
My name is Kenneth C., but you can call me Kenny or Ken. I have an MBA from the University of North Florida. I have taken several electives in math and finance as well as several other subjects. These electives include calculus for business, financial management, quantitative methods of business, statistics, and several others. My last math class in high school was trigonometry. I was able to test out of algebra for college and began my college career with calculus for business. I also have 14 years of customer service experience at Publix supermarkets. I worked for Bank of America and Merrill edge as a financial solutions advisor, a preferred relationship consultant, and a new account concierge advisor. These positions required me to pass the Series 7 and 66 licensing exams, two of the most difficult exams I have ever taken, which I passed the very 1st try. I truly feel I would make a great tutor.
In the past, I have tutored a few family friends and coworkers in mathematics and Spanish. It was very rewarding personally for me to know that my help enable these students to increase their grades and ultimately pass the class and do much better on tests. Math has always been my strongest subject. I have tutored algebra before, successfully assisting the students in improving test scores and passing the class. While I did only take Spanish 1, I was inducted into the Spanish National honors society. So while there may be several nouns, verbs, or adjectives I am not familiar with, I was very good at conjugating, sentence writing, and pronunciation. Which I could tell was a major problem for most students.
I will work to the best of my ability, in order to help others achieve their educational goals in the future as well. I really hope that you will consider me when choosing your tutor. Thank you for your time and consideration. I truly believe I can help you to improve your understanding and knowledge of the subject. And I study outside of my tutoring sessions as well to stay up on the subject, I see your performance as a direct reflection of mine. I'm very easy to get along with and it doesn't have to be a boring experience or chore. As long as you are willing to put in the work, I'm sure I can help you out. We will communicate through WyzAnt, just email me and let's setup a time to meet. I look forward to meeting you!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
