I started teaching Elementary in 2008. I have taught VPK4, 2nd and 3rd grade in Duval County and assisted in 4th and 5th grade. In 2013 I was in the EPI program at UNF, and I am currently attending UNF to receive my Masters in Education Leadership by 2017.
While attending UNF for my Bachelors, I freelanced in Production for the Jacksonville Jaguars, American Idol, the PGA Tour and more. My last semester, I produced a package on Educators in Duval County and was inspired to pursue a career in Education.
I am professionally trained in the EPI program at UNF on how to educate a student in developing their reading skills. I also educated VPK4 students on introducing letters,sounds, and blends. I guided my 3rd graders on comprehension and reasoning.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
