My name is Phillip Cardona. I am of Colombian descent and a native speaker of Spanish, and am a recent graduate of University of North Florida with a Spanish major and history minor. I have years of interpreting in English to Spanish in a variety of fields, including call centers. I'm open and willing to work with any type of age and demographic as far as tutoring is concerned. In addition to having formal education I've also been exposed culturally to many different types of people throughout my life and am thankful for this. I think this aspect of life is a great attribute I can bring as a tutor. No matter what the challenge, I think with hard work we can work well at achieving goals to either learn a new language or improve what skills you already have.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
