Hello. My name is Camille J. I am a professionally certified teacher. I am certified in Exceptional Student Education kindergarten through twelfth grade. I am also certified in Elementary Education kindergarten through sixth grade. This is my sixth year teaching children in the k-12 school systems.
My first year teaching, I was a Varying Exceptionalities Teacher at Bridge To Success Academy. I pushed in and helped my 7th and 8th grade ESE students as well as general education students in the classroom with their Reading/English Language Arts assignments and their Mathematics assignments. I also pulled out my ESE students into my classroom and helped them with their assignments and tested them on statewide assessments and classroom assessments. For the next three years after that, I was an SLA/ESE classroom teacher at Jean Ribault Middle School. I taught access points students Civics, American History, and World History. I administered their statewide assessment to those 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. After that and currently, I began working at KIPP Jacksonville Public Schools as a Learning Specialist. I push in to the classroom and help my ESE kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, and 7th grade students as well as general education students with their Reading/English Language Arts and Mathematics assignments. I also pull out my ESE students from those same grades and help them work on their goals from their individualized education plans for Reading/English Language Arts and Math.
I encourage students who need help with their work to reach out to me to assist them. I enjoy helping students reach their potential.
