Hi, I am currently a 2nd semester Master's student at the University of North Florida studying Special Education my concentration is Autism. My undergraduate background is in Art and I minored in psychology. I did start off as a biology major and changed my direction during my 2nd year. I love to read and would love to help anyone ages k-6th grade with reading and writing (grammar included). I am a fun lady who loves children and loves seeing them learn. I have experience with tutoring, I tutored in high school and during undergrad. I have also worked with children with exceptionalities (special needs). I also love art very much and I have great experience with painting, art history, and drawing. So anyways I can involve art or creativity in the tutoring session, I will do so. On a final not, I see "I can't" as not a good enough excuse for not being the best student possible. I pride myself on excellence and that is by doing my very best, not being afraid to get help if need be. I hope this sheds light on me and I look forward to tutoring. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
