I am an engineer graduate with a master's degree in industrial engineering. Since graduating schools I moved to south Florida and begin a teaching career in mathematics. I currently teach secondary mathematics at a high school in Miami Florida and have been teaching there for the past three years. During my college years I was also one of the mathematics tutors on campus helping my peer get to the promise land.
I have over 10 years of experience tutoring mathematics from the grade school level to the college level. However, I don't believe that the tutoring experience along make me a great tutor. I believe that I am an outstanding tutor because of my experience teaching and training training that I received the last few years. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
