Instructional experience in a law enforcement setting as a certified Florida law enforcement instructor through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) in areas of Report Writing, Criminal Justice, Security Awareness, and Vehicle Operations.
As a law enforcement instructor with a BS in Criminal Justice Administration and an MS in Administration of Justice and Security, I am familiar with developing lesson plans, a student syllabus, PowerPoint presentations, and learning objectives for each class/student. I am currently an active-duty Reserve Police Officer for a municipality in Miami-Dade County which enables me to be current and up to date with ethical, political, and sensitive social issues facing the criminal justice community today.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
As a Law Enforcement veteran spanning a 22 year career within Miami-Dade and Broward counties, achievements include rank promotions within first-line supervision, mid-level command, and executive leadership training. Primary career experience is within executive management along with numerous collateral executive and investigative assignments for better organizational career development, diversification, and public relations. Frame of reference includes skill areas in executive leadership, classroom instruction/training, investigations, and organizational/operational oversight in conjunction with risk management and strategic planning. Primary career experience is within areas of classroom based teaching/instruction for better career development and diversification. Service employment for various law enforcement agencies has allowed for the increased development of these skill areas to better adapt to new challenges within the private and public service sector. Additionally, my Undergraduate and Graduate education targets and focuses on diverse issues within Criminal Justice and the administration of private security and law enforcement organizations. This includes familiarization on current legal and corporate trends as it relates to Criminal Justice and its legal system and business dynamics.
My proficiency was gained through user experience within the law enforcement profession for the past 20 years. I have consistently used Microsoft Windows as a base operating system in my law enforcement service. Additionally, I have used MS Windows for scholarly and academic research as well as investigative search which includes home use. My proficiency is on an advanced level of use and I have instructed students within a classroom setting using MS Windows.
