Hi my name is Tim. I'm a University of Florida student currently studying Materials Engineering. I have extensive experience teaching math through Calculus 2 and chemistry through General Chemistry 2, as well as industry certification in all Microsoft Office applications. I am a fast learner, and able to explain complicated problems in a simple, concise fashion. I can teach from elementary through high school, including some college-level classes, and would be happy to be your tutor!

I can break down math problems into smaller parts and steps, explaining how to work through them in a way that isn't intimidating or frustrating. I also have 4 years of experience teaching both the high school AP and college versions of Calculus 1 and 2 (also known as Calculus AB and BC)

I have a great amount of high school and college level chemistry experience, and can teach chemistry though college General Chemistry 2 and some parts of Organic Chemistry. While teaching I make sure to stress the fundamental ideas and concepts behind much of chemistry, since these are absolutely vital to mastery of the subject, and the areas where many first-time learners fall short. My methods of setting up and solving problems in a fast and effective fashion experience will ensure completeness and accuracy on any chemistry exam.

Timothy taught me about solving for percent abundance, molecular and empirical formula, as well as MO orbitals. I felt pretty comfortable and he has lots of patience. He taught me how to solve problems in easier ways rather than the way they teach it during the lectures and the textbook.
