I'm an Aerospace Engineering student who loves calculus and physics. I have a fairly deep conceptual understanding of the subjects and can provide great ways to think about the material so you understand it and don't just have to memorize formulas! I want to tutor to get experience teaching because I want to be a professor after grad school. I'm a student too and I make mistakes and sometimes misunderstand things, but if that happens we'll work through it together and come out with an even better understanding.

I love math and have a deep understanding of calculus up to calc 3 and most concepts in differential equations. I have taken all calculus classes as well as differential equations , numerical methods, and computational linear algebra. I'm currently enrolled in a Master's level differential equations class as well. I frequently try to better understand these topics on my own and wonder how I'd explain them to somebody who knew nothing about it. A few days ago in the car I spent a whole two hour drive thinking about how to visually explain the divergence theorem relating closed-surface integrals of vector fields to triple integral of volumes.

I have a very good understanding of physics, especially statics and dynamics. I have taken physics 1 and 2 with calculus as well as statics, dynamics, mechanics of materials, etc... I constantly think about how I would explain this stuff to students as I want to be a professor after grad school. Even when I run (I'm a distance runner) I frequently derive formulas in my head such as Bernoulli's equation from Newton's 2nd law or the rocket equation from the same law or even the simpler equations such as V^2=Vi^2 + 2*a*d which comes from work-kinetic energy.

I'm a student too so I know what you're going through! Don't be afraid to reach out. I love this material and would really like to explain it to students who need it so I don't keep annoying my non-STEM friends.
