I am currently a full time accountant after recently graduating with my bachelor's degree. During my college experience I have switched my degree multiple times, one of which includes engineering. I have taken many upper level math courses that would make me a great candidate to teach subjects such as algebra, trigonometry, etc. Also, during my senior year of high school I picked up chess as a hobby. Although I don't play as much as I used to, I developed enough skill to be a slightly above average club player (1600-1800). After a few months of my tutoring, you will most definitely be able to beat all your close friends and family quite easily.

I have little tutoring experience besides helping close friends with courses that I have previously taken, such as algebra up to calculus. Although I lack much experience, I understand the concepts in lower level maths very well and can explain them to anybody in a clear and concise way. I have also helped one of my close friend's with his chess game and he has improved much faster with my help. After playing many games against each-other, I was able to go over what he did wrong and constantly re-iterate crucial fundamentals.

What I like most about tutoring is helping others understand the concepts that are giving them difficulty. As a previous student myself, I understand how frustrating it can be to not understand something right away, even with the infinite information available on the internet. Sometimes the best way to articulate difficult concepts is through one on one discussion which is what makes it so valuable.

I received my associates in engineering in 2017 and completed courses such as algebra, calculus 1-3, and differential equations. I enjoy solving math problems and I thoroughly understand any concepts that are held at high school level or below. Even after graduating college, I very much use the knowledge I've learned throughout college through my personal programming projects.

Chess

I got addicted to chess when I was about 19 and haven't stopped playing since. I play almost everyday through online websites and have put a lot of time studying how to get better. My rating puts me in the 90th percentile based on the websites I play on. I know how beginners should go about improving their chess as quickly as possible up to a certain extent.
