In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I enjoy reviewing the history of our government's actions. There are lessons all should learn from what we experienced in Vietnam that would have saved us thousands of casualties and trillions of dollars had we not invaded and then stayed so long in Iraq. Likewise in Afghanistan. Andrew Jackson exposed a weakness in the checks and balances of the 2 branches of government vs the executive branch.

I worked for 7 years as an aide in a high school helping students in all the core subjects. 3 of those subjects are involved in the ASVAB test. I am also certified in Missouri to teach math, algebra I and geometry.
