Hello!

I obtained dual Bachelor's degrees in mathematics and economics, with a statistics concentration in my 4 years at Simmons College in Boston, MA. While studying there, I worked as a math department Professors' Assistant. I graded papers and tutored students studying all courses within the department, including Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Statistics, Biostatistics, Linear Algebra, Modern Algebra and Real Analysis. I also tutored at an after school reading program, for a local elementary school. I understand concepts quickly, allowing me to find multiple ways to solve each problem – I use these different methods to connect with students’ unique learning styles.

Mathematics and statistics are intertwined within all studies and careers, most people don't realize it. Just watching the weather forecast for the day- those are predictions based on multiple variables, analyzed by experts. Businesses cannot succeed without modeling, predictions, money management and analysis. For those who just want to own a small business, become a Chief Financial Officer, or want to ensure that a car loan is appropriate for his or her income- math and and statistics are a necessity.

I'm currently studying towards becoming a Physician's Assistant. I'm also a Certified Nurses' Assistant with a current BLS (basic life support) with the American Heart Association.

I enjoy helping people with all tasks and figuring out problems. I understand that everyone is different and thus all needs and ways of doing things are different. Outside of studies, I love dogs and I am a fitness enthusiast.

Thank you so much for looking at my profile. Don't hesitate to ask me any questions!

Statistics

While obtaining dual Bachelor’s degrees in mathematics and economics, with a concentration in statistics, I worked as a teachers’ assistant in the math department. I graded papers and tutored students studying all courses within the department, including statistics– a crucial stepping stone for probability, physics, and GRE prep. Statistics are used in almost every career, just some people don’t realize it. Without modeling, predictions and analyzation, a business will not succeed. Statistics is even seen by many when they watch the weather forecast- the number of variables predicting your weather is mind blowing! I understand math concepts quickly, allowing me to find multiple ways to solve each problem – I use these different methods to connect with students’ unique learning styles.
